Band Members 

Eddie Gonzalez, from Arizona, guitarist, composer, lyricist, mixing and mastering. Started my musicianship when I saw a guitar hanging on my older brothers bedroom wall. Took some community college class on guitar and music theory before going on to study at Arizona State University, unfortunately didn't finish my studies due to many factors. Luckily schooling is not the ending but the beginning. Never stopped playing, never stopped composing, never stopped learning, never stop creating. Passion drives my musicianship. 

Christy Zarate, born in Texas, vocalist, lyricist with a big voice an even a bigger heart. Been singing since I was little - no lessons, no training, just pure, natural talent. Growing up on the radio, I taught myself from the best singers.

Counter Enigma because hindsight is 20/20. Our name reflects a drive to decode life's complexities-not to dwell in contradiction, but to seek clarity through sound.

We refuse to be confined to one genre of music, since we are musicians we compose all styles of music, Pop, Rock, Dance, Indie etc.

The passion of our music is melody and harmony, the passion of our lyrics is life. Our music is delivered bold, and emotionally charged with precision and purpose. We stand for emotional transparency and musical craftsmanship. Our songs explore life, love, identity, and resilience-not through paradox, but through direct storytelling and sonic clarity. We believe music should illuminate, not obscure.

Our lyrics are in English and Spanish with stories that are direct, honest and deeply human.
